The first Scouts that arrived at the top of Cribyn looking towards Pen-y-Fan.
All sitting down for a well earned rest at the top of Pen-y-Fan.
A view from the top of Pen-y-Fan - fairly exhausted, but feeling pretty pleased with themselves!!
Finally, on their way back down - are those relieved looks on their faces??
In the distance, you can see the three peaks climbed during the day - going from left to right - Cribyn, Pen-y-Fan and Corn Du. All having ANOTHER well earned break!!
The results of the camp cooking competition - all the leaders were very impressed with the results that "appeared" from the Scouts' billies and frying pans!!
The camp cooking competition involved each patrol sitting down and organising a special meal for the whole patrol. A shopping list for all the ingredients was written out and the meal cooked and judged that evening in the evening.
The above patrol were the winners of the camp cooking competition - as you can see, they even went as far as decorating the dinner table! Very well done to all the Scouts.
The Scouts having some shooting experience at the campsite just outside of Bristol.
The other sporting activity the Scouts experienced at Woodhouse Park (the Scout campsite) was archery. There was a competition between all Scouts that was very close - all were very good shots!
The happy group in the middle of London outside Buckingham Palace. We spent three days at the end of the expedition exploring London, seeing the sites.
One of the main events we undertook in London was to have a ride on the British Airways London Eye - the views from our capsule were amazing.....
Some of the Scouts were actually speechless because of the views we had from the capsule - the first time in two weeks!!!
This was the view of some of the group towards the end of the last day of the expedition - Trafalgar Square and all looking quite tired.
The final picture of all the Scouts outside Baden-Powell house with the statue of Baden-Powell himself.
